What is Dao Yin Toe
Raising Qi Gong?
This set is for the courageous and disciplined Qi Gong practitioner or for a person who is new to Qi Gong that wants to experience the unknown and have an experience that is beyond the understanding of their rational mind.
These exercises also create a balance of Yin Yang and the meridians in the body and regulate the Eight extraordinary energy vessels that store our life force.
It joins the left side to the right side of the body and the upper to the lower. It regulates the Heart and Kidneys. It regulates the breathing and strengthens the connection between the energy body and the physical body.
One of the purposes of the Toe Raising Pattern is to invigorate the Yin Qiao and Yang Qiao vessels.
These exercises create perseverance, stamina, discipline, determination and increase vitality. They also create stillness, calmness and a quiet mind.
This Qi Gong course will teach you how to connect with Heaven Qi and the energy outside of your body. It will connect you to the energy from Earth Qi and help you to increase your life force and vitality.
Some people have referred to the Toe Raising Pattern as a moving meditation exercise but I believe it is much more than that. I have personally had some pretty wild and surreal experience while practicing this pattern.
This Qi Gong Toe raising pattern is unique and is made up of 7 different sections but is performed in one continuous sequence without stopping or pausing.
'I learned a lot. Not just the Qi Gong movements, but also meditations and how they can be used to balance my mental and spiritual being.'

Meet the Course Leaders
Qi Gong Master Teacher
Peter Caughey
Founder of Forest Rock Qigong & The Forest Rock Qigong School, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Master of Taiji Quan & Qi Gong, Acupuncturist, Chinese Medical Herbalist, Medical Qi Gong and Tunia practitioner & published Author.
“My mission is to help people experience that they are connected to and are part of something much larger than themselves.”
I am the last known remaining teacher of the Jen Gee Dao Tai Kit Kuen Monastery School Principles and Philosophy, originally from Southern China.
During my 30 years of both treating people in my TCM Acupuncture Clinic and practicing and teaching Taiji (Tai chi) and Qi Gong, I have learnt what true health in a human physical body really looks like and how to achieve it. I believe if you really want to be healthy then you need to see your life, the world and why you are here in a different way. Prior to studying TCM, Qigong and Taiji, I spent 16 years in the New Zealand Army and seven of those in the NZSAS (New Zealand Special Forces).
I am also a husband, a father of three children and a grandfather. I love traveling the world with my wife, Josephine, and my young son, Rayner – meeting new people and experiencing their cultures and countries.
Sound Journey Artist Josephine Costain
Josephine is an accomplished musician, wellness guide, and experience weaver. Melodies have woven through her life since childhood – singing, songwriting, and performing on stage since the tender age of 8 years old.
Her artistry extends beyond the stage. For over 20 years, she’s guided others towards discovering physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance through Pilates and Yoga instruction.
But her true magic lies in her ‘Sound Journeys’, where her unique talent blends music and atmosphere to create deeply relaxing experiences that soothe the mind, body, and spirit. Her mystical insight, heavenly voice, and attention to the subtleties of atmosphere and soundscapes create a truly unique sound experience.
'The most wonderful thing about the course is the combination of guided meditations, Qi Gong exercises, and sound medicine experiences. It’s all relaxing and powerful at the same time.'
