WHAT YOU will LEARN over 4 days

Ba Duan Jin, also known as
the Eight Brocades, is one of the
oldest and most practiced
Qi Gong systems in the world.

This centuries-old sequence of
gentle, flowing movements has been
passed down through generations
as a way to build health, vitality, and
inner peace.

Each movement works with a
specific area of the body and its
corresponding organ system.

As you practice, you’ll learn to
guide the flow of energy within
your body, calm your nervous
system, and bring your body,
mind, and emotions into harmony.

Grounded in the principles of
Traditional Chinese Medicine,
Ba Duan Jin supports your body’s
natural ability to heal, strengthening
the organs, improving circulation,
and balancing the emotions.

As your practice deepens, you may
find yourself breathing more easily,
sleeping more soundly, and feeling
a greater sense of clarity and calm.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE BA DUAN JIN QI GONG

Ba Duan Jin, which means “Eight Pieces of Brocade,”
reflects the idea that these movements are as valuable to your health
as fine silk—something precious, refined, and to be cared for.

The philosophy behind Ba Duan Jin is built on the understanding
that body, breath, and mind are deeply connected. When we move
the body gently and breathe with awareness, we help the energy
within us, known as Qi, flow smoothly.

This balanced flow supports healthy organs, a calm mind,
and emotional stability.

The practice teaches a balanced approach to life:

effort without strain, focus without tension, and movement with intention. It’s a reminder that strength and calm can exist together, that good health comes from working with your body, not against it.

WHY THIS COURSE IS UNIQUE

Most people learn Qi Gong by following movements but don’t
learn the inner principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine that
make the practice so effective.

This course helps you understand why you’re practicing each
movement, what’s happening inside your body as you do, and
how it supports your organs, emotions, and overall health.

This course helps you understand why you’re practicing each movement, what’s happening inside your body as you do, and how it supports your organs, emotions, and overall health.

When you understand how your organs and emotions are connected, you begin to see how every thought, feeling, and action influences your wellbeing.

You learn how to bring balance back when you feel tired, stressed, or emotionally overwhelmed, using the movements as tools to support your body’s natural healing abilities.

Forest Rock Qigong | Cancellation Policy

We want to make our cancellation policy as clear and fair as possible. Below
are the details of the policy for our 4-Day Course.

Over the years, I’ve watched thousands of
people come to Qi Gong searching for more
energy, peace, and purpose, and discover
that the real power of this practice lies in its
simplicity.

Ba Duan Jin teaches us how to listen to the
body, understand the language of the
organs, and care for ourselves in ways that
can be challenging in modern life. When
you learn how to support your organs and
calm your emotions, you begin to feel more
at home in yourself and your body.

You feel centered and grounded. Your mood
becomes more positive.

The tension that once weighed you down
begins to release,
and you feel more relaxed and at peace.

My intention in teaching this course is to
give you something that will last,
a practice you can return to again and
again. It’s a way to restore balance when
life feels overwhelming, and to build
strength and clarity from
the inside out.

I look forward to guiding you through these
movements, sharing their wisdom, and
helping you experience what it means to
live with an open heart, more energy, and a
quiet mind.

Much care,

Peter Caughey
