Learn to Clear Limiting Beliefs at Their Root with the Healing Codes

 

We often have stories running in the background that affect our lives: stories like wanting people to like us or love us or listen to us.

We also tend to defend these stories and beliefs when we feel like our views are threatened. These core beliefs can be part of our identity and can shape the way we see our lives and the world.

Understanding how these stories effect us is one part of it, but another part – and the most important part – is learning how to get them out of our life, so that we can stop reacting to them.

There are many proven ways that you can use to help yourself change and release these stories, like NLP, past-life regression, EFT, talk therapy, and many others. The method I’m sharing with you today is called Healing Codes, discovered by Dr. Alex Lloyd.

 

His wife was struggling with depression for about 20 years, and he did all sorts of things to help her recover from it.

Then, in a dream, he was shown a set of movements, and he taught them to her – and within six days of practicing them, she was cured.

It’s a pretty remarkable story and if you go to his website, you’ll find a long lists of people who have had amazing things happen after using these codes. My wife and I have used them to break some of our stories, and they work! 

I can’t really explain why they work, though I have my own theory about how these movements may affect our endocrine and nervous system and send messages through our energetic body. I highly encourage you to at least try them if you’re struggling with any kind of mental heaviness and emotional disturbances.

HEALING QI GONG | STEP-BY-STEP

1) Hand position
Know the hand shape that will be used in the healing codes: bring all the fingers of each hand together, the energy comes out of all 4 fingers and thumbs. When you do the codes, you will point the fingertips a few centimeters away from specific points on the head and neck without touching the body.

2) The four Healing Code points
Know the points that are used in the healing codes:

  • Bridge / third-eye (Yin Tang): between the eyebrows.
  • Adam’s apple: center of the throat.
  • Jaw: angle of the jaw on either or both sides.
  • Temples: slight indent at the side of the head.
    When you do the codes, you will point your fingertips and thumbs (of both hands) 2 – 5 cm from each area both sides for 30 seconds before moving to the next position.

 

3) Prepare your focus
Name one issue or ‘emotional charge’ you want to soothe. It might be anger, grief, fear, shame, or a strong stress response. Bring up a memory that triggers the charge deeply, and rate its intensity from 0 – 10.

4) Try to make the charge ‘bigger’
As you feel into the memories, try to amplify the charge within you. For example, if you sense that it’s a 5 – 6 emotional charge, you might find that you can bring the intensity up to 7 – 8 by focusing on it. 

5) Say a wish or a prayer
You have identified the emotional charge that you want to integrate. Now, you can say a short wish or a prayer as to how you’d like to feel instead. For example, if certain memories make you feel powerless or disrespected, you can say to yourself, “I’d love to feel powerful, unshakeable, and at ease within myself, no matter what may come.”


6) Healing Codes: suggested cycle

Begin to cycle your hands through all the Healing Code points. A simple loop is: start with the Third eye → Adam’s apple → Jaw → Temples, for 30 seconds each, repeating everything for a full 3x cycles. Breathe gently. Keep shoulders relaxed. Eyes open or soft-closed.

7) A calm, positive mindset
While you hold each position, you may simply breathe and attempt to gently allow in a feeling of joy, positivity, or gratitude. If your mind begins to wander, simply notice it and bring your focus back to a more positive state of mind. 

8) Re-rate the intensity of the feeling of the charge and repeat the exercise as needed
After you finish all 3 cycles, re-rate the emotional charge. You may find that the intensity has lessened. If it had previously been 7-8 while amplified, it might just lessen to 5-6 now. You can repeat the whole thing again as needed, bringing it down as low as you want to. Note that if it’s a very old and powerful blockage, it might take more than one day to truly dissolve the charge.

9) Bring your hands to your heart
When you’re done with the exercise, bring your hands together to your chest and bring the feeling of joy and gratitude for yourself.
